When it comes to orthodontic coverage – every plan is different. If you know that you or your child need braces, it is important to select a policy that offers coverage for orthodontic treatment. This way, you won’t be left laying for everything out of pocket. Some plans even have different stipulations about age. With your Cigna dental plan, you may receive partial coverage for the following services:

The Benefits of Choosing an In-Network Orthodontist

We are in-network with Cigna. This means that your orthodontist has a contract with the insurance company to establish a fair and average fee for covered orthodontic services that they agree to charge. Cigna then covers a percentage of that cost. Alternatively, out-of-network orthodontists can charge higher fees for their services, but you will need to pay the difference in price in addition to your out-of-pocket percentage of the insurance company’s pricing.
